The world does not revolve around your problems

Pedophilia is wrong. Yes, I know that they cannot help their urges/attraction. However, that does not make it right. If they don’t act on it, good for them, but they should still seek help. They are a danger to children, who cannot consent or push them away, and in no way should this be condoned.

If/when a pedophile acts on his/her urges, the victim should not be ignored in favour of standing up for the pedophile. Pedophiles are adults. They can go get help for their problem. If they don’t…well. Children on the other hand are taught to respect and go along with what adults tell them. When an adult abuses that, even if and especially if they know they have a problem, that is completely wrong.

Do not go and pity the pedophile. Stand up for the victim.
